Raw fibre concentrate – pure, concentrated crude fibre from nature

Lower diarrhoea risk during feed change

In rearing, the first weeks of life are essential for the health and the development of the calves. JELUCEL^® raw fibre concentrate promotes digestion, and ensures better health and profitable calf rearing.

The special fibrillar structure of JELUCEL^® is beneficial to the monogastric digestive system of the calves and promotes rumen development. The high capillary action of the fibres improves the reabsorption of water in the intestines and stabilises the water and electrolyte balance. Practical trials have shown that JELUCEL^® has an overall stabilising effect on the digestion of calves. The animals are more resistant to diarrhoea and also to other illnesses.

By feeding JELUCEL^® as a supplement in the first weeks of life, the digestive system is accustomed to crude fibres at an early stage, increasing the calves’ resistance. Thus changing to roughage bears fewer risks and can begin at an earlier stage. The diarrhoea incidence is reduced and the use of pharmaceuticals is diminished, while mortality rates are decreased.

Nutrient-independent dosage of crude fibre

Common crude fibre sources have a crude fibre content of about 10 to 15%. JELUCEL^® has a consistent crude fibre content (ADF) of about 95%. Therefore the concentrate allows a standardisable and nutrient-independent dosage. It goes without saying that JELUCEL^® is 100% free of mycotoxins.

Application

JELUCEL^® is added to liquid feed as early as possible. We recommend using 1% in the mixed liquid feed.

JELUCEL^® raw fibre concentrate is suitable for all feeding systems and can be used in a versatile manner. It has optimal dispersion and flow properties. JELUCEL^® is admixed through dosage systems or directly added to the milk or milk replacer. The concentrate can also be added to the TMR or concentrated feed.

JELUCEL^® is manufactured from controlled pure raw materials using a HACCP-certified process and can be delivered in bags or as loose product. Own brands are possible.
