Cellulose and wood flours used as fillers for welding electrodes
The use of celluloses and wood flours in welding electrodes is one of the first applications for these products. During welding, these fillers form gases of carbon oxides to protect the weld. Depending of the type of electrodes, 2 % to 40% are used in the formulation.
